About our name, City Park Church, from Pastor Toby Pegram.
“Over the time that we have been thinking and praying for the church plant, God just kept bringing the park to my mind. It’s a central place where families and singles go to spend time. It’s a place where we will see lots of people. The neighborhood is Washington Park. It just became very clear that God was trying to do something in the park. As we grow, and eventually plant more churches through this church, we will look at planting near other parks… because that’s where the people are. So the name of the church will be City Park Church. We are a church that loves our city and meets by the park.”
